Description
The Church of St. Giovanni Evangelista, in the hamlet of Castel San Giovanni, Parish (already present in 1473), is located within the castle.
The gabled facade, recently restored, preserves the carved stone portal dated 1588. The interior, restored as well, has some paintings from the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries and frescoes from the eighteenth century. Baptismal font from 1571. The sacristy, where arises the bell tower, is leaning to the left side of the church, corresponding to the presbytery.
